About the job
You are on the front lines of the digital health revolution, joining a dynamic cross-disciplinary team to bring prenatal care into the 21st century.
Bloomlife’s first product is a pregnancy tracker and was launched on the US market a year ago. With the help of our users, we’ve been collecting the largest data set ever on maternal health during pregnancy. Over 3000 expectant moms have already used the product and have contributed to this dataset. Analyzing this data and extracting new information and knowledge from it requires a well-developed, robust, and efficient data engineering pipeline.
In this internship, your role will be to architect, design, and implement a data science pipeline to allow efficient processing of Bloomlife data, from the data collected by our users, all the way to a set of features that can be used by Bloomlife’s data science team. You’ll work in close collaboration with the senior staff at Bloomlife, covering data science, computer science, quality assurance, and biomedical engineering.
- Recently graduated or pursuing B.Sc. / M.Sc. in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, industrial engineering, electrical & electronics engineering, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of signal processing and data visualization techniques
- Working knowledge of MATLAB
- Good written and oral English communication skills

You will join a young, dynamic and international team who’s passionate about using technologies for a better living. You’ll get a chance to experience the vibe of a growing start-up with recent successes. You’ll experience first hand the life in an international start-up, while developing the fundamental infrastructure that any data science oriented business needs.
We offer a 3 month internship with flexible schedule. You’ll be based in our Eindhoven office.
